It is a Handycam (compact camcorder manufactured by Sony) with an inline optical axis from the lens to the EVF. The position of the lid and the way it opens were determined so that the user can check and operate the control buttons with the left eye while looking through the viewfinder with the right eye.

レンズからEVFまでの光軸をインライン配置したハンディカム（ソニー製コンパクトビデオカメラ）。右目でファインダーを覗きながら左目で操作ボタン類を確認、操作できるように蓋の位置、開き方を決定した。
